This day trip excursion takes you into the dark heart of Phuket's jungle interior on an unforgettable trek through nature that makes a great day out for anyone who likes activity.
Your day begins just after breakfast, when our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel, and you will be driven in an air-conditioned car to the starting point of your jungle experience. After a quick briefing about how to behave, and what to look out for in the rain forest, you will set out on a trek through the undergrowth.
Your guide will point out many of the unique plants and animals as you move through the trees, and show you many beautiful sights as you go including orchids and even monkeys if you are lucky. Hiking through the jungle is hot and thirsty work, so you will be glad of refreshments, and the guide knows a great spot to rest. You can sit in the sun by a cool pool of fresh water and relax before moving on with your trek up into the hills.
At the top of one of Phuket's highest points you will stop in order to enjoy the stunning views over the island before heading back along a track to find a waterfall and pool where you can stop for a swim and cool off after your hike. Back at the visitor's centre, you can compare stories with the other travellers before returning to your hotel to spend the afternoon at leisure.
